How come my graphics dont work right in this game?

i have a game for my pc called dominion it is a star trek game that you fly spaceships and stuff. it runs ok and the graphics for the movies and set upu work fine. but when it switches to when you are flying the ships everything is fuzzy and hard to see. it isnt slowing down any i just cant see everything. the game worked fine on my old computer but not my new one. the new computer is bigger and faster. is there some kind of compatibility issue? if so how can i find out.
