Who sabotaged Gordon Brown's microphone?

I want the Liberals to win but it's so obvious that somebody was playing dirty tricks. It's not like Gordon Brown even said anything bad (the woman probably IS a bigot) so I wonder why the BBC are making such a big deal of it.
