Canadian navy in Plymouth England in september 1973?

I am searching for amy biological father or his friends who was in the Royal Canadian Navy ,and were in Plymouth, Devon, in England in september of 1973.My father was black and a radio operator who was aboard one of these ships.USS TIRU, HMCS CALOOSAHATCHEE, HMCS NIPIGON,HMCS PRESERVER,HMCS SAGUENAY or the QUAPPELLE.More info if i recieve any replies from shipmates.
